Team Ministry?
We practice "team ministry", this means that over the course of a month you will have opportunity to hear from several teachers. We find this in keeping with the biblical model found in the New Testamemt and a healthy protectant against the narrowness of a single perspective

Ways to Worship?
We see biblical precedent for many ways of
worship: a variety of instruments including the shofar, the tithe, banners and dance, praying in other tongues and others. You may or may not see any of these during a service. There is no pressure to participate in them, but we as a church recognize their validity and
allow people the freedom to worship as they are moved within the context of scripture.

Bible Translations?
We do not promote a specific translation of the Bible but believe that any version that is a literal word-for-word translation from the original Hebrew and Greek is a legitimate source for study and that comparison of more than one translation can be beneficial. Our position is that Paraphrases (The Message, The Passion, etc.) may have their place, but should not be used for exclusive study or for the determination of doctrine.

Participation of Women?
At New Life you will see women participating in church services. We honor the Bible's teaching on authority and within the proper context find precedent for women participating in the functions of public church life and ministry. (References available upon request.)

Teens & Children?
We try to strike a balance between family integration and age-appropriate teaching. We value children as people and believe that they should be in the main services as much as possible. The sounds of babies and the perspective of the next generation are a welcomed part of a healthy "family".

Healing?
At New Life, we pray for the sick. We believe that provision was made in the redemptive work of  Jesus for the healing of our bodies. We see that prayer for the sick and anointing with oil are taught in the scriptures and believe that these things are relevant today. We view doctors and medicines as partners who can help us towards God's ideal of physical health.
